Yacht Management & Crewing

A yacht is more than just a valuable floating asset. It is an employer, a machine that requires maintenance, a business, an office and a holiday – to a name but a few.

Having one asset morph into many different roles, as and when required, can be both complicated and time consuming.

The yacht management solutions provided by our members cover a wide scope of services that have one thing in common – the effective and efficient operation of a vessel.

Our members have been providing yacht management services to yacht owning companies, the yachts and their crew for many years.

Whether planning for a refit or making significant procurement decisions on important equipment, knowing that you have access to experts that you can rely on can make a huge difference.

The combination of our members’ technical experience and intimate knowledge of superyacht operations means that they can provide comprehensive technical support at any stage of a yacht’s operation.

Delivered by experienced teams of yachting professionals with proven track records, they can offer impartial advice and provide a tailored solution bespoke to each individual client.

From Yacht Finance and Administration services to assist with bookkeeping and accounting, to assistance with charter license requirements, or providing technical assistance such as ISM, Mini ISM, ISPS, training and survey services – whatever your requirements our members have it covered.

CREWING

The effective and efficient operation of any vessel relies heavily on its crew. However, finding the right crew for your vessel can be a time-consuming exercise and often leads to much precious time being wasted.

The Isle of Man is home to many crew management companies offering a range of services that cover the full spectrum of crewing requirements. Drawing on their experience and wealth of knowledge together with their global network of industry contacts, they are able to secure the right people for your vessel across all nationalities with the understanding of the competencies, qualifications and experience required from officers and crew.

Engaging a professional crew management and payroll service provider is of significant value – not only does it de-risk your business and reduce the administrative burden, but it also takes away the headache of having to stay up to date with constantly changing employment, social security and taxation rules and regulations.
