It has, for some time, been apparent that there is currently a shortage of suitably qualified and experienced Ship Superintendents.
In response to this, a successful training programme has been established over the last three years, based on the Isle of Man.
The training was originally designed for newly appointed Ship Superintendents, however over recent years it has evolved to provide an excellent foundation in all aspects of ship operations. In recognition of this, the programme was included by Lloyds List London as ‘one of the best training programmes of its kind’.
This intensive course which lasts 9 consecutive days has been approved by IMAREST (the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology) and DNV-GL (Det Norske Veritas).
