‘Dare to be Different’ is a mantra that Isle of Man Maritime definitely do not shy away from when it comes to their events.
From an afternoon of music and refreshments aboard the Kathleen of May in Liverpool, to an evening of drinks and canapés upon the glass walkway of London’s Tower Bridge; whenever and wherever it is, Isle of Man Maritime like to stand out from the crowd and leave their guests with something to go home and talk about.
This September looks set to be no different, with their first major off -island event of 2019 at this year’s London International Shipping Week (LISW). As a Bronze Sponsor of LISW 2019, Isle of Man Maritime will be ‘Lighting the Way’ for guests at an all exclusive, invitation-only event that they will be hosting on Wednesday September 11.
Over 100 delegates will be greeted with a ‘bubbly’ reception as they step on board the Northern Lighthouse Board vessel, NLV Pharos, which will be moored alongside HMS Belfast on the River Thames.
Graced with views up the river and of Tower Bridge, guests will be entertained by live music while they enjoy drinks and canapés, as well a number of other surprises the organisers have firmly up their sleeves.
Joining Isle of Man Maritime will be representatives from members: Appleby, Bernhard Schulte, Cains, Döhle, Finance.im, Isle of Man Ship Registry, MHG Insurance, InterManager, Kinley Legal and PDMS, who together will host what promises to be yet another great event that not only dares, but very much succeeds, in being different!
