Marta Cope, Group Chief Financial Officer of Isle of Man Maritime Member, MX Bulk, recently launched the Isabella Manx at Tsuneishi’s shipyard in Zhoushan, China.
The Isabella Manx is the fourth Ultramax in a series of five to be built by Tsuneishi Group (Zhoushan) Shipbuilding Inc., China and is scheduled for delivery to MX Bulk in August.
We are delighted to confirm that the vessel will be registered under the Isle of Man flag making another great addition to the Island’s Ship Register.
Commenting on the ceremony, Marta Cope, said: “It was a real privilege and an honour to launch the latest addition to our expanding fleet. Seeing a ship launched down a slipway is an incredible experience. Our thanks go out to the Management and employees at Tsuneishi, Zhoushan for all their hard work and skill. We look forward to building upon our excellent and long standing relationship with one of the foremost ship building yards in the world”
