DESCRIPTION:Join Isle of Man Maritime as we talk about the possibilities in Maritime. \nNow in its 4th year\, STEMFest is a remarkable educational initiative\, where c800 year five and six students hailing from primary schools across the Isle of Man will gather at the prestigious Villa Marina on the 26th and 27th March. The focus of STEMFest 2024 is to spark and cultivate the students’ interest in the realms of Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, and Mathematics (STEM) and to explore potential careers within these fields. \nThe event will transform the Villa Marina into an engaging educational environment\, divided into three interactive zones: Engineering & Construction\, Science\, and Technology & Maths. More than 30 local companies and organisations will participate\, setting up hands-on exhibits to demonstrate the application of STEM principles across various sectors. \nThe DfE is actively seeking sponsors to support this pivotal event. Sponsorship not only helps cover the costs associated with the event but also prominently displays your brand’s commitment to advancing the STEM industry and encouraging the next generation to pursue exciting careers within these fields. \n

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce the 4th Maritime Careers Fair and Maritime Expo\, which will take place on Saturday 20th July 2023\, from 11:00 to 15:00 at the Villa Marina’s Promenade and Colonnade Suites. \nOpen to school children\, school leavers\, graduates and adults looking for a change in career or sector\, the event will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet with member firms who work in this diverse sector to discuss the variety of roles and opportunities available to those considering a career in the maritime sector.
